Gymnastics For All / General Gymnastics Class Structure

Gymnastics for all embraces all aspects of gymnastics and is accessible to everyone. Rather than focusing on just general gymnastics (Floor and Vault main disciplines), GFA incorporates all of the gymnastics disciplines including, freestyle, acrobatics, aerobics, rhythmic, trampoline and tumble as part of our comprehensive program. But why stop there?! GFA can also cross link disciplines such as performing a beam routine with rhythmic hand apparatus.
It’s about creating maximum opportunity for gymnasts to experience a range of skills and disciplines whilst providing the fun and enjoyment of taking part and the great feeling of achievement at the level of their choice. Individual and group activities take place to also encourage social interaction and self – confidence.
Our classes offer children aged 4 years (must be in full time school) to 14 years a structured gymnastics session including the GFA programme.

Class structure:

Gymnasts start with a cardio/conditioning and flexibility warm up and then cover rotations on Vault – Freestyle/Bars/Beam and Floor/ Tumble Track – Trampoline. Twice a year we hold badge testing which the participants will progress through the British Gymnastics Association Awards from badge 8 to Gold Badge Award.

We are also organising our annual PBSC In-House Competition where all our members are invited to participate.

Children of certain ability will also be selected to take part in the regional London GFA (Gymnastics for All) competition organised by British and London Gymnastics.
